James Akers has always been a local business enthusiast. He started Main and Me with his wife, Mary Pat, as a way to help support local business. Using the Pinterest model he built a website/app that is a real time local shopping experience. Local businesses can finally use technology to bring in customers in a more immediate and technology driven way.
